Hello,

I’m Jess

About Me

  • I am an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor. I live in the South Bay and spend most of my time in community with family and friends. I’m an avid soccer fan and enjoy picking up new sports (I am very competitive.) When I want to pause I bring my telescope out to find myself in the stars or put my hand to paper and practice my watercoloring skills.

  • Together, we can sit in the anxious and depressive moments that seem unbearable, explore the source, and collaborate on what long-lasting change can look like. I look to create a space for folks to be themselves and build the bravery to look within. Wherever you are in your journey, I welcome you as you are and look forward to walking alongside you as a humble witness to your life.

  • I provide an understanding, supportive, and empathetic space for BIPOC folks and all women in unearthing what is already there. Our time together will re-discover what is already within you and tap into what you've always been good at; being you.

  • In our work together, CBT can be a powerful tool to help us notice the thoughts that shape your emotions and behaviors. Sometimes, we get caught in patterns that no longer serve us—thoughts that tell us we’re not good enough, that things will never change, or that we have no control. Together, we will gently challenge these thoughts, explore where they come from, and build new ways of thinking that align with the life you want. You are not your thoughts, and you don’t have to believe everything your mind tells you. Through this process, we will create space for self-compassion and a deeper understanding of yourself.

  • Your body holds so much wisdom—memories, emotions, and experiences that words sometimes can’t fully capture. In somatic therapy, we honor what your body is telling us, whether through tension, restlessness, or even numbness. Instead of just talking through challenges, we will listen to your body’s cues and gently explore ways to release what feels stuck. Through breathwork, movement, and grounding techniques, we’ll reconnect with the present moment and build a sense of safety within yourself. Healing doesn’t just happen in the mind—it happens in the body, too.

  • There are so many parts of you that have worked hard to protect you, even if those parts sometimes feel at odds with each other. IFS helps us slow down and get curious about these different parts—maybe there’s a part of you that pushes forward, another that holds deep fear, and another that carries old wounds. Instead of judging them, we’ll invite them into the conversation with compassion, understanding their roles in your life. Over time, we can help these parts feel less burdened and create more balance, so that you can lead with your truest, most grounded self.

  • Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR)

Sometimes, painful experiences feel stuck, as if they are still happening in the present. EMDR is a structured process that helps your brain and body reprocess distressing memories so they no longer hold the same power over you. Using bilateral stimulation—like eye movements or tapping—we will work together to gently process these memories in a way that feels safe and manageable. You don’t have to relive the pain, and you don’t have to go through it alone. EMDR helps your mind find new ways of understanding past experiences so that you can move forward with more ease and less fear.
